Louis Vuitton fetes 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 with custom-made trunk

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 mission, Louis Vuitton has created the Malle Mars, a space-age looking custom-made trunk opening up to unveil a variety of compartments and drawers to carry different essential items. It will be on display at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History, exhibited by NASA.

Victoire de Castellane creates Rois et Reines collection for Dior


Victoire de Castellane has unveiled her latest fine jewellery collection for Dior: Rois et Reines. Marking the jewellery designer’s 10th anniversary at Dior, the collection features 20 three-dimensional skulls carved from ornamental stones such as chrysolite and jade, which are then dressed in dazzling collars and crowns in a variety of styles.

Tiffany & Co. upgrades Tiffany Keys collection

After the success of the Tiffany Keys collection introduced earlier this year, Tiffany & Co. has added three new pendants to the line, which sells at a much higher price level. Inspired by Art Deco jewellery in the Tiffany archives, the new platinum keys are encrusted with diamonds and black onyx in geometric shapes and suspended from gem-accented chains. The prices of new pendants range from $25,000 to $30,000.

Following Louis Vuitton / Murakami QR code promotion, the Tokyo-based creative agency SET has now released a new edition for Marc Jacobs. One can access the designer’s mobile site from a Japanese phone after scanning the code.

Hublot adds racing bike to its All Black range


Following the launch of the limited edition ‘All Black’ skis with Swiss ski manufacturer Zai, Hublot has now partnered with bike manufacturer BMC to create an ‘All Black’ racing bike made of light, high-performance materials. Available in a limited edition of 30 pieces.
