Louis Vuitton, Murakami team up again


Six years after their first partnership in 2003, Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have collaborated again to create a multi-coloured wallet collection, the Insolite Multicolore. The pieces retail from €460 and will be available in stores from April 27th.



Shaun Leane challenges conventional bridal jewellery

The London-based jewellery designer Shaun Leane challanges the conventional realm of engagement rings, creating edgy bridal designs. The designer puts traditional solitaires in settings that resemble thorns and serpent’s tails. Leane’s bridal collection includes interlocking rings, matching dagger earrings, and co-ordinating bands for the groom. The designer has produced jewellery for Van Cleef & Arpels, Garrads, Kutchinskys, Mappin & Webb, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen. Last year, Leane collaborated with Boucheron to create a one-of-a-kind necklace for the jewellery house’s 150th anniversary.



Louis Vuitton launches toys for adults


For those who haven’t lost the child within, Louis Vuitton unveiled its Toy charms mini-collection featuring pendants in various forms: a sailboat, house, rattle, a girl or a boy... The pieces in white or yellow gold, lacquer and precious stones, retail from €2,200 to €4,600.
