GoldVish launches phone with mechanical watch

Following watchmakers’ entry into mobile phone business - with TAG Heuer and Ulysse Nardin, now it is a phonemaker’s turn to take its very first steps in watchmaking.

At Baselworld 2009, luxury mobile phone producer GoldVish has presented its latest model Revolution, featuring a Swiss Made mechanical watch with a chronograph. The phone is developed with the Swiss watchmaker Frederic Jouvenot, and the design was conceived by the creative director of GoldVish Emmanuel Gueit, who also designed the AP Royal Oak Offshore in its first form.

Only 9 pieces of the Revolution has been made, and the retail price is €369,000.
