Louis Vuitton, Murakami team up again
Shaun Leane challenges conventional bridal jewellery
The London-based jewellery designer Shaun Leane challanges the conventional realm of engagement rings, creating edgy bridal designs. The designer puts traditional solitaires in settings that resemble thorns and serpent’s tails. Leane’s bridal collection includes interlocking rings, matching dagger earrings, and co-ordinating bands for the groom. White gold outward interlocking engagement ring featured above retails at £4,735.
The designer has produced jewellery for Van Cleef & Arpels, Garrads, Kutchinskys, Mappin & Webb, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen. Last year, Leane collaborated with Boucheron to create a one-of-a-kind necklace for the jewellery house’s 150th anniversary.
